Keeping in mind the concept behind this saying, more than 2 decades ago, I helped plant a tree at Kareli Colony in the city of Allahabad, in the form of Unity Public School & College. After 25 years, I see a picture of the tree, which is huge and definitely thriving. There was and still is, such satisfaction knowing that I helped plant that tree. lts permanence gives me a small gift that grew to a beautiful tree, which others now enjoy. Hence the little school started in the year 1994 in a rented building, has now grown into a mighty institution of repute.
Each child is a beautiful flower in a plant of the Unity Family. Our philosophy of education has always been meeting the needs of the individual child. In the 21st century, the Digital Revolution affect us all. Quite simply, it is changing everything. Hence education is a process by which a person's body, mind, spirit and personality are formed and strengthened, It is the foundation on which rests the edifice of the society and democracy. Unity Public School & College does not believe in imparting ‘knowledge’ merely as ‘information’, but insists on giving value based education which the world needs today. The campus focuses on educating children with a fine blend of religion, culture and modernity. The moral value based education, with impetus on sound character building grows the child to become the men and women of substance in a changing society. Every effort is made to bring out those qualities which are the best and noblest in the children so as to make them good and loyal citizen of our nation.
Thousand of students have passed through the portals of Unity College. Some have made a mark in public life. And surely, all who passed through this school have a lol to thank this institution, for what they have received from it. I express my considerable appreciation to all the members of Unity Family and give my best wishes to the coming future years in harmony with nature within this wonderful campus of ours. Much have been done in the last 25 years and still more needs to be done in the years to come. As we celebrate our Silver Jubilee- May Allah be our inspiration and strength through the intercession of our dear members of management, teaching, non-teaching and support staff. I wish it many many years of existence for the benefit of our community and nation.
To conclude i would express my sincere thanks to Dr. S. Kalbe Sadiq Sb. Gibla; Secretary, Tauheedul Muslimeen Trust, whose constant support, guidance and encouragement have always inspired me to serve the cause of education. May God bless him & give him speedy recovery and good health. We are thankful to Hon'ble Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi; Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India, for giving scholarship to girls of Class IX to XIl under Ministry of Minority Affairs scholarship scheme and appreciate all the efforts he is making to uplift minority institutions and students and many other steps taken for the welfare of minorities.
We are highly grateful to the Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffar Foundation, F.L. (USA}, Mr. Magbool Ali Salman, Mr. S. Anwar Ahsan (G.M. Raha Oman), Mr. Faiq Dawood, Late Mr. Raushan Ali, Mr. Meer Ali Deoji & family, Mr. Abbas Noorani, Mr. Gavhar Husain, Mr.Hussain Yaar Khan, Mr. Jafar Naqvi and all members those who helped poor & needy students education.
